I hope that everyone is enjoying a wonderful April vacation!  Please enjoy these photos from our SCA service learning project, an interpretive field day, in which students presented information about various New Hampshire science topics and engaged in a variety of educational field day activities.

We have been learning about New Hampshire ecosystems with our SCA team for several months.  Our class has learned so much from Miss Krystal, Mr. Randal, and Mr. Donovan. As part of our service learning project, we constructed and painted birdhouses for our school grounds.  Students also researched many of the birds that may rest in our houses, and we will present this information at tomorrow's "Interpretive Field Day."  Remember to dress appropriately for the weather...and wear sturdy footwear in case of muddy conditions!

Music is in the air!  Mrs. Warhola is teaching students to play the ukelele and the recorder.  Please remember to bring your recorder to school every Thursday and practice for one hour each week.

The Student Conservation Association, or SCA, has been visiting our class on Wednesdays to teach students about a variety of science topics.  Their lessons focus on New Hampshire's unique climate, wildlife, geography, and ecosystems.
