We worked hard all week to improve our fluency by practicing our Thanksgiving poems.  All the groups were fantastic!  Our guest judges, Mr. Harrises and Mrs. Kelly, had a tough decision.  They had great things to say about everyone, especially our winning group, which presented "The Thanksgiving Day Parade," by Jack Prelutsky.  Congratulations to Addi, Mia, and Madie on a great performance!

Looking for an elf to help you with your holiday gift wrapping?  Then come to the PTA Holiday Gift Fair!  This fun family event will be held this Saturday, December 6th, from 11 am to 1 pm at Underhill School.  I'll be there, putting my wrapping skills to the test.  We're hoping to see a great crowd at this year's fair, so I hope everyone can make it!

Today we had a special writing lesson with Mrs. Malynowski.  We've already practiced our 'friendly letters' a lot.  Now, we're starting to learn 'procedural writing,' in which we teach our readers how to make or do something.

We've been working very hard on subtraction - particularly, subtraction with regrouping.  Here we are playing "Go for the Smallest," which made our practice fun!
