Tomorrow is field day! The forecast suggests rain for Monday, so we have scheduled Tuesday as a rain date for this event. However, please come to school tomorrow prepared for a day outside - suggested items include sunscreen, hat, water bottle (labeled), raincoat, shorts/pants, sneakers, and an extra pair of sneakers/shoes and socks.
*Also, we have begun the classroom cleanup process. Donations of Lysol/Clorox wipes would be greatly appreciated!

We've had a great week so far! We've dressed up for career day, sports day, and patriotic day. Also, we enjoyed a fantastic assembly called "The Brain Show," which was just like a live game show right here at Hooksett Memorial! Carter, Kyleigh, Madilyn, Tyler, Asher, Madison, and Miss Smith were all chosen to be "contestants." I would especially like to congratulate Carter on his big win! Great work everyone!

Today was a blast...from the past! We visited Hooksett's very own Head School, where our schoolmarm, Miss Cooms, led us through our lessons and demonstrated a variety of "old school" disciplinary techniques. We also spent the morning at the town hall, where we got to experience nooning, which allowed us to play recess activities and use toys of days gone by. I'd like to send a special thank you to our chaperones, who helped our day run smoothly.
