To Miss Fremeau's Class,

What a wonderful year!  I am so proud of all that you have accomplished; from academic achievements and behavioral growth to new friends and budding senses of humor, you have exceeded my hopes and dreams for your third grade year.  Please enjoy my last gift to you - our class slideshow, because you truly are "the greatest."

You're off to great places,
Today is your day.
Your mountain is waiting
So get on your way.  -  Dr. Seuss

Field Day was "awesome and fun," according to our class.  Some of our favorite activities were Pitch Perfect, Water Golf, Sponge Relay, and Doctor Dodgeball.  The popsicle stand was quite popular!  Here are some glimpses of all the fun we had!

Tomorrow is field day!  The forecast suggests rain for Monday, so we have scheduled Tuesday as a rain date for this event.  However, please come to school tomorrow prepared for a day outside - suggested items include sunscreen, hat, water bottle (labeled), raincoat, shorts/pants, sneakers, and an extra pair of sneakers/shoes and socks.

*Also, we have begun the classroom cleanup process.  Donations of Lysol/Clorox wipes would be greatly appreciated!

Today was our "Celebrate Our Success Assembly."  Our class won the third grade award for safe, respectful, and responsible behavior in Unified Arts classes - I am SO proud!  Additionally, individual students were recognized for the following achievements: PBIS individual behavior awards, Girls on the Run, DI, Library achievements, Student Advisory Council, Accelerated Reader, Kids Making a Difference, and field day captain.  A special congratulations goes out to Seth, Madison, Max, Gabrielle, Abbie, Joel, Jessie, and Ryan for individual awards!  Way to go everyone!

It was another fun day for Miss Fremeau's class as our year together comes to a close!  Today was "tropical day," so some of us started the day with a little limbo and some festive tunes!  Later, we enjoyed a delicious veggie tasting, thanks to all the parents who sent in these treats for us.

We've had a great week so far!  We've dressed up for career day, sports day, and patriotic day.  Also, we enjoyed a fantastic assembly called "The Brain Show," which was just like a live game show right here at Hooksett Memorial!  Carter, Kyleigh, Madilyn, Tyler, Asher, Madison, and Miss Smith were all chosen to be "contestants."  I would especially like to congratulate Carter on his big win!  Great work everyone!

Next week will be "Celebrate Our Success" week, where students will be recognized for a variety of academic and personal achievements.  To add to the fun, a different theme of dress has been selected for each day.  Listed below are the descriptions for each day's attire!  *Participation is encouraged, but completely optional.

We had a blast tie-dying our field day t-shirts with Mrs. Bobay today.  Third grade colors are red and blue, and we are so excited to see how our creations come out!  Thanks to all our parent volunteers for helping out...

Today, we had a visit from our local EMTs, who talked to us about ambulances and emergency tools. We all got to escape the rain by going inside the ambulance, and Madison even got a ride in the motorized stretcher!

Hi, Fremeau Families!  We are extremely excited to make our field day t-shirts with Mrs. White on Friday, around 2:35pm.   Any families interested in helping create our tie-dye t-shirts are more than welcome!  Just join us...no official RSVP needed!

Today was our field trip to Bear Brook State Park.  We went for a hike and honed our powers of observation, investigated macro invertebrates, and even went ponding at Spruce Pond.  We also ate lunch inside the main lodge.  Here are a few snapshots of what our day looked like!

Today was a blast...from the past!  We visited Hooksett's very own Head School, where our schoolmarm, Miss Cooms, led us through our lessons and demonstrated a variety of "old school" disciplinary techniques.  We also spent the morning at the town hall, where we got to experience nooning, which allowed us to play recess activities and use toys of days gone by.  I'd like to send a special thank you to our chaperones, who helped our day run smoothly.
